Dust extraction and air quality specialist, AL-KO THERM GMBH, will be displaying its comprehensive range of industrial dust extraction systems and filter equipment at Europe’s largest woodworking machinery and tools exhibition, Ligna, in Hall 12, Stand D15.

AL-KO dust extraction units on display

The German manufacturer, whose products are exclusively available from TM Machinery in the UK, will present new and existing product ranges on its 105m² stand. AL-KO will show an open PROFI-JET stationary unit, offering visitors a unique opportunity to see the workings of the system for themselves, and a wide range of POWER UNIT mobile extraction systems differing in size, filter type and extraction capacities.

AL-KO showcase new dust extraction products

AL-KO’s stand will also showcase several new products that will be making their world debut at the five-day show. New innovations include the first contactless filling level sensor suitable for ATEX-zone 21 and a brand new extraction unit, based on the POWER UNIT program, designed to remove welding fumes and other industrial dusts.

Must-see products from AL-KO

Matthias Schalast, Area Sales Manager at AL-KO THERM GMBH adds, “The new European Regulation EN 16770 has finally been published. All our mobile devices are manufactured according to this rule and have been for several years. For us, Ligna 2019 will be about educating new and existing customers on our product range, how our designs meet the new regulations – including the need for spark detection systems in ducting systems which our 250 unit will show – and the steps we’re taking to create systems that can future-proof your business. We’re also really excited to be launching our brand new solution for extracting welding fumes and will be presenting our innovative contactless filling level sensor, suitable for ATEX-zone 21. It’s an ultrasonic sensor and as I understand, we are the only ones in the world to have this item certified. It’s a ‘must see’ at the show.”
