An automated panel saw is among the Striebig vertical panel saws to be shown on the T.M. Machinery stand. This will be an upgraded Control series model, the first time the highly advanced, fully-automatic saw has been seen at a UK exhibition.

High throughput panel saw launched

For use particularly where high levels of panel throughput are required, it features as standard Striebig’s innovative “touch and saw” automated panel saw operating system. This delivers easy and convenient machine control through a touch screen panel that operates all of the machine’s functions. Other new features include improved error messaging and laser cut indication for making totally accurate cuts, another industry first for Striebig.

Included among the wide range of options to make the Control even more productive are an automatic top trimming function, for use in combination with the bottom trim; an electronic positioning system for the automatic positioning of both the length stop and saw head, and a scoring saw.

Automated vertical panel saw controls

There’s also an innovative cutting list input function, provided via a USB memory stick, with data coming from Striebig panel optimisation software developed specifically for vertical panel saws. All possible dimensions are shown on the touch screen with each dimension ready to be selected by the operator.

According to Matt Pearce, sales director of T.M. Machinery, Striebig’s sole UK distributor: “The upgraded Control offers an unbeatable package of technically advanced features that makes it unrivalled in today’s market.

“It delivers the twin benefits of reduced energy use and less material wastage, which has to be a good thing in these tough economic times.”

The Control will be shown alongside examples of two top-selling Striebig models; the entry level manually operated Compact, which combines exemplary ergonomics with unmatched versatility, and the latest incarnation of the Standard series, the TRK2, which has been leading the vertical panel saw market for many years.

Come along to the T.M. Machinery stand to learn more about the company’s complete panel sizing package, which includes the supply of new and used Striebig machines, backed up by a highly efficient service and repair function.
