AL-KO Power Vac Series at LIGNA

Your team are using several hand tools on multiple work stations and juggling individual extraction systems, space and energy consumption is proving challenging. Now imagine how easy it could be if you had a fully mobile, central vacuum dust collector that could work effectively with up to 14 hand tools in one go. Cue the new AL-KO Power Vac series.

Launched at LIGNA 2025 and available exclusively in the UK from TM Machinery, the AL-KO Power Vac is a compact and energy-efficient dust extraction solution ideally suited to the wood, plastic and aluminium industries. Available in two sizes – with varying performance levels – the series is characterised by robust German build quality, exceptionally strong suction power and high air volume flow.

AL-KO Extraction Technology

Matthias Schalast, Area Sales Manager for AL-KO Extraction Technology explains, “There was a clear gap in the market for a mobile extraction system that was designed to extract hand-held processing machines during the grinding, milling, sawing and deburring process. In fact, we had manufacturers coming to us and asking us for a solution. Similar systems only offer a maximum vacuum of 2,500 – 3,000 pa which makes running multiple machines on one system and maintaining good air quality inside your factory almost impossible.”

Matthias continues, “We’ve spent the last two years designing and testing the AL-KO Power Vac series to combat these issues. The range has been designed to extract dry dust up to class ST1 quickly and safely at the point of origin. It can reach a high vacuum power of up to 10,000 Pa – over three times more than other systems on the market – and boasts a nominal volume flow of up to 1,400 m3/h, offering users the flexibility to use up to eight machines on our 125 P and 14 machines on our 140-P at one time. The design of the hose filter also grantees high separation efficiency for both coarse particles and fine dust, making it a highly versatile piece of equipment when using a variety of hand tools and even smaller CNC machines.”

Unique to AL-KO, the new range also features its patented high-performance, filter cleaning system (Al-KO OPTI-JET) as standard and an automatic cleaning function. It also incorporates an integrated frequency converter for quick and easy performance adjustment and a silencer designed to reduce noise levels of its IE4 motors to only 74 dB(A) – allowing for installation directly in the work area.
