T.M. Machinery Sales, UK agents for the popular Striebig range of vertical panel saws, will demonstrate a new automated Compact AV model plus two of its popular best-sellers.

All five Compact entry-level models are now available in an automatic cut cycle version, until now only available with the more expensive models.

Striebig Compact Panel Saw

As the operator does not have to move the panel once it has been placed on the saw he can concentrate on preparing the next batch of panels to be sized, making the Striebig Compact panel saw AV highly productive and a big time saver.

The Compact range, including the 4164, also to be shown, have central support and small parts support over the entire length of the saw, making the cutting of small work pieces much easier. A scoring saw is available as an option to prevent laminate panel edges from tearing out.

Top of the range Striebig Control

Also being showcased will be a top-of-the-range Control model, which represents the cutting edge in vertical panel saw technology.

Features considered expensive optional extras in other saws are included as standard. They include a digital measuring system, accurate to 0.1 mm, and an adjustable precision display that can be set to an accuracy of 1.0, 0.5 or 0.1 mm, according to the thickness of the panels being sized.

With the Control numerous automatic procedures can be carried out by the press of a button, including locking and releasing the beam saw, setting the horizontal cutting height, plunging and swivelling the motor, locking the support rollers during sawing and fine saw blade adjustment.

Striebig saws, which can be wall-mounted or freestanding, have a maximum cutting depth of 80mm. They are suitable for cutting practically all sheet material, including MDF, plaster board, plastics and aluminium panels, and guarantee dust limit values well below 1mg/m3.

Alongside the saws will be examples of the highly efficient range of Al-Ko mobile extraction units.

Details will be available of the facilities provided by the T.M. Services & Spares division, one of the UK’s most respected woodworking machinery service specialists.

As long-term sole UK agents for Striebig vertical panel saws, T.M. Machinery Sales provides a top quality panel-sizing package, including the supply of new machines, servicing and repair, and the reconditioning of existing models.
