Matt Pearce, Managing Director of TM Machinery & TM Services, discusses the company’s ongoing commitment to its customers during the COVID-19 pandemic.   

Few people would have predicted the situation we are finding ourselves in today but, its during these times of uncertainly that the resilience, commitment and determination of the industry shines though. With over 35 years of experience servicing the UK woodworking industry, TM Machinery & TM Services has build a solid reputation on its exceptional level of service. This remains true today, with its focus remaining firmly on helping its customers through this time and offering the much needed support and guidance needed.

“Service is at the heart of everything we do. As we find ourselves in these challenging times, it’s this philosophy that has helped us act quickly and resourcefully in order to continue to be here for our customers,” explains Matt.

TM has put a framework in place that allows its dedicated team to work remotely with minimal disruption to its business, with sales and technical support being offered over the phone or via email. Matt adds, “Our technical team and service engineers know our product ranges inside out and back to front. We have decades of experience in resolving technical issues remotely. In fact, it’s this tried and tested approach to service that significantly reduces the number of revisits our engineers need to undertake during a normal working week. This will benefit us and our customers greatly during this time.”

vacancies-at-tm-machineryThe team will also be on hand to assist its customers with sales enquires, administrative queries and the rescheduling of machinery installations. “Whilst we’ve chosen to freeze machinery installations until we’re told its safe to do so, we are continuing to work closely with our customers. We’re being as flexible as we can to accommodate customers who want to change their installation date. We have the capacity to hold machines in our warehouse until all parties are in a position to move forwards and that’s exactly what we plan on doing for those customers who were expecting their machine to be installed in the coming weeks.”

Matt adds, “We appreciate that every company, regardless of the industry they are in, are having to change their approach to business during this time. For those companies that already work with us and those that may work with us in the future, it’s important to know that we are not going anywhere and we are here if and when you need us.
