The Striebig 4D is the world’s first vertical panel saw to offer intelligent cut optimisation, even for the most complicated panel and strip cutting work.

The operator uses a 12″ ‘touch and saw 2.0’ touch screen to program in all the required cutting sizes and the machine does the rest, leaving the operator to remove the sized pieces for stacking. This guarantees excellent levels of efficiency coupled with optimum material utilisation.

Fully automatic wall saw

With all horizontal and vertical work piece movements performed fully automatically – and the “parking time” between individual saw cuts reduced to less than 10 seconds, the 4D delivers effortless and speedy one-person operation, plus all the space-saving benefits expected from a Striebig.

The machine’s built-in optimisation software, which removes any chances of incorrect cuts being made due to operator error, has the option to be interfaced with the user’s current software systems.

Diverse cutting range

The 4D delivers a cutting range of 5300 x 2100mm and comes with the option of cut depths of 80, 105 or 130mm. To meet the diversity of today’s panel materials, it is designed to handle loads of up to 390 kg.

There is also a choice of three saw motors: a single speed 5.5kW motor, a two speed motor and an 8.0kW motor with infinitely variable speed so as to suit all materials and levels of machine usage. With numerous optional equipment available, every 4D machine is tailor-made to a customer’s individual requirements.

New 4D sawing technology

Matt Pearce, sales director of T.M. Machinery, Striebig’s exclusive UK distributor, said: “More than 50 years involvement in the development of vertical panel saw technology, together with numerous patents and awards lie behind the development of the new Striebig 4D.

“Thinking outside the box has been the order of the day for the company’s development team. As well as the established saw parameters of the length, height and width/depth of the panel to be sized, the 4th dimension – that of time – is a vital component of 4D technology.

“The high-end machine represents a quantum leap forward in saw technology and offers outstanding new performance levels for the benefit of saw users who want maximum efficiency.”
